Why Burbank Arts & Education Foundation?

Burbank’s schools have a great reputation for delivering a quality public education. But here, in the “media capital of the world”, our schools still face funding shortfalls. The reality is our student body is diverse: 8 of our 16 schools qualify for Title 1 funding, with 40% or more of our students coming from low-income families. Our English Language Learners represent Spanish, Armenian and Arabic cultures, among many others.

Together, we are impacting thousands of kids with engaging learning opportunities each year. Your tax-deductible contribution goes directly to support innovation and excellence in schools, including arts education, STEM programs, student safety and wellness, and other needs within the Burbank Unified School District (BUSD). 

Burbank Arts & Education Foundation is uniquely positioned to partner with BUSD to support essential programs outside the scope of the state-provided budget. This can include arts, athletics, STEM programs, student wellness, and educator professional development. Each dollar raised is carefully stewarded and applied based on recommendations from our board, district stakeholders, and community advisors. We publish regular impact reports to demonstrate accountability.

  • IN-KIND DONATIONS - Burbank Arts & Education Foundation is happy to accept a wide array of goods and services including office supplies, in-kind professional services, and goods for our event auctions.

  • STOCK DONATIONS – We accept donations of stock. Please contact us at admin@burbankartsanded.org for more information.

  • WILLS & BEQUESTS – By including a bequest to Burbank Arts & Education Foundation in your will or living trust, you are ensuring that we can continue helping thousands of students within BUSD. Your gift also entitles your estate to a federal estate charitable deduction.

  • UME FEDERAL CREDIT UNION – Member donations to BAEF are matched by UMe up to $15,000 annually. Become a member HERE.
