Grants & Giving
Burbank Arts & Education Foundation supports innovation and excellence in schools, including arts education, STEM programs, student safety and wellness, and other needs within the Burbank Unified School District (BUSD). Awards will be distributed via our bi-annual grantmaking program, which specifically correlates with BUSD’s most significant areas of need.
Funding Focus
Burbank Arts & Education Foundation allocates supplemental funding to BUSD through our grantmaking program. We continue to fund the following areas:
STEM (Science Technology Engineering Mathematics)
Arts Education
Health & Wellness
Classroom Needs
Other Eligible Requests
Eligibility
We will only consider requests for funds to support projects that occur during the standard school day during class time, are standards-based, and have a direct connection to student learning.
All funding requests for single-site projects must be signed by the school’s principal; and all multi-site or District-wide projects must be signed by the BUSD Superintendent.
All facility-related projects must be signed by the BUSD Director of Facilities. This pre-approval is required to ensure all Burbank Arts & Education Foundation funding is consistent with the current School Site/District needs and priorities.
We award multi-disciplinary grants, so feel free to be creative. Multi-disciplinary grants involve the integration of Arts Education into Health & Wellness, or STEM projects, or the other way around.
